Originally from Michigan, USA, Erika spent three years working at a wildlife rehabilitation centre, primarily focusing on birds. Additionally, Erika served as an Interpretive Naturalist at a nature centre. Erika has been working as a Guest Experience Coordinator and Duty Manager at Taronga Zoo for the past two years.

In her spare time, Erika enjoys playing video games, going to the theatre, and hiking.
