Dr Wendy Tran
BSc, DVM
Dr Wendy was born and raised in Melbourne. She graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. During that time, she focused many of her clinical placements around exotic, zoo and wildlife animals, and even completed a 2 week placement stint at the Unusual Pet Vets Peninsula clinic! Since graduating from veterinary school, she has been working in a predominantly dog and cat clinic in Melbourne’s outer north west. She has since made the move to Western Australia to join the UPV team to follow her passion in working with all of our unusual critters.
Hobbies and Interests
Out of work, Dr Wendy loves to read, go to the beach, (read on the beach), spend time with her family and friends, and going to pilates classes.
Owned Pets
Dr Wendy very sadly doesn’t have a pet at the moment but if you see Wendy at the clinic you may notice a very adorable tattoo of her beloved Pomeranian, Kiki, on her arm.
