Meet Vet Nurse, Amy (She/Her)
Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing
Amy has always had a love for exotic animals, so she started her career in the zookeeping industry, where she gained experience working with many different species. Amy then went to the RSPCA, where she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, where she focused on growing her nursing skills with the wide variety of cases she saw at the RSPCA.
It wasn’t long before Amy was presented with the opportunity to work in her dream job as an exotics vet nurse at the Bird & Exotics Vet in Sydney.
Every day, Amy continues to grow her skills and work with her favourite species that includes: birds, reptiles, and guinea pigs!
Hobbies and Interest
Outside of work, Amy likes to spend time outdoors birdwatching, playing games with her friends, snuggling up with her dogs, and reading a good book!
Owned Pets
Amy is the proud pet parent of three beautiful companions: a crazy rainbow lorikeet named Beetlejuice, whom she adopted while working at Bird & Exotics vet, and two dogs, a Spoodle named Toby and a Corgi named Lady Diana, whom she also adopted from the RSPCA.
