Meet Vet Nurse, Andy (He/Him)

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Andy has always been fascinated by the bizarre and macabre, which led to an interest in entomology and rodents.

Since graduating from the University of Sydney with a certification in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience, Andy has developed an appreciation for reptiles and aquaculture.

Andy was a client at Bird & Exotics Vet before becoming a vet nurse at the clinic in 2021.

Hobbies and Interest

Andy has an eclectic range of hobbies and interests that includes; consuming radish cakes, collecting circular mirrors, dismantling the heteronormative, patriarchal, and racist paradigms of the Establishment, and foreign occult-revenge-style horror films.

Owned Pets

Andy has many unusual pets, including a Blue-tongue Skink and a Knobtailed Gecko, one Giant Burrowing cockroach, three Tiger leeches, one Green Tree Frog, one Peron’s Tree Frog and a Huntsman Spider.

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee.
