Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing

Jacynta has always been passionate about animals, and, in particular, the scaley and feathered types. Before becoming a qualified Vet Nurse she volunteered her time at a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center to learn some practical skills and experience with how to interact with her favourite species of exotic critters.

Jacynta has been in the veterinary industry for 2 years, working with small animals predominantly as a surgical and hospital nurse. She is looking to further her education with exotic animals and hopes to complete her Advance Programme in Veterinary Nursing of Exotic Species.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, Jacynta loves to travel and go camping with her pooches. To unwind, she gets cozy with a good book. For a good laugh, she’ll do a workout and also enjoys dancing.

Owned Pets

Jaycnta is a proud pet parent to a Chihuahua named Douglas, a Shepherd named Lexi, and 5 Silkie chickens named, Terriaki, Honey, Ginger, Sesame, & Chilli.

Excellent service, caring and professional advice, and very good handling for our pet bird, on our first visit today at The Unusual Pet Vets, Jindalee.
