Veterinary Nurse, Vanessa (She/Her)
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Currently a third-year DVM student at the University of Sydney, Vanessa has been working with animals for the last seven years. She is originally from Singapore, where she spent her high school years volunteering at a non-profit wildlife rescue centre to care for endangered tortoises, iguanas and snakes. She worked as a veterinary assistant for a small animal clinic during her gap year before moving to Sydney for her veterinary degree.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work and study, Vanessa can be found playing softball and badminton, cycling, hiking, doing yoga, baking, aquascaping, and tending to her garden.
Owned Pets
Vanessa has a few unusual pets, including tropical ornamental fish and crustaceans (shrimps), rabbits, cats and tortoises.
